GarbleCloud CSE enables many options for creating and uploading Encrypted Files and Folders. Creating or uploading encrypted files and folders is done almost identical to creating or uploading normal files and folders.
How to Upload and Encrypt Files
Uploading and Encrypting files can be done seamlessly with the click of a button. First navigate to the FILE UPLOAD and select ENCRYPT AND UPLOAD A FILE.
A small window appears explaining some limitations of the Encrypt and Upload feature.
Once you have selected your file, it will be uploaded the same as a normal file except there will be a shield icon next to it.
How to Make an Encrypted Copy of Files
To make an Encrypted Copy of a file, right-click the file you want to encrypt then select MAKE ENCRYPTED COPY. An encrypted copy of your file will appear in your drive.
How to Upload and Encrypt Folders
Uploading and Encrypting Folders can be done seamlessly with the click of a button. First navigate to the FOLDER UPLOAD and select ENCRYPT AND UPLOAD A FOLDER.
Note: You can not encrypt existing folders. You may only encrypt the files within the folders.
A small window appears explaining some limitations of the Encrypt and Upload feature.
Once you have selected your file, it will be uploaded the same as a normal folder.
How to Decrypt Files
Decrypting a file can be done in one of two ways. You may either create a DECRYPTED COPY or DECRYPT AND DOWNLOAD the file. To do either function, right-click on the file you want to decrypt and select whichever method you prefer.
