In the GarbleCloud application, controlling information flow within an organization is very easy to manage using a Security Policy. Security Policies add advanced sharing settings to each file within the parameter set by the user. These policies only act on encrypted documents that are created or encrypted within the application.

How to Add a Security Policy

To create a new security policy click the GEARS icon in the top right corner under your avatar then select SECURITY POLICIES.


In the SECURITY POLICY screen in the top right corner, click ADD POLICY. In the ADD POLICY pop-up window, type the policy specifications you want, and then click SAVE.


For example: If you have a PDF file with the title “Top Secret,”  you can type that phrase in the BODY CONTAINS textbox. This prevents any encrypted PDF file with this title from being shared or updated. Example shown below.
